FAQs

Q: Why should I spend money on public relations?
A: Depending on media coverage, particularly at the early stage of your career, is a risky gamble. You are competing with countless drivers, series and venues for very limited media coverage. Letting the world know about your on-track success can be as important as the success itself.

Early in your career you will compete with more drivers for less media coverage

Q: I just signed with a team. Won’t they provide me with media coverage?
A: Some teams take public relations seriously while others treat is as an afterthought. Either way a team’s primary focus, particularly at the lower levels of racing, is on finding drivers for next season. On a multi-car team, the best performing driver will naturally get the most attention. Dedicated PR means that you can tell your story.

Q: Can you help me find a sponsor?
A: APC can provide you with the collateral materials to help you with your sponsor search, but we do not seek out sponsors. While public relations is an important part of sponsor acquisition, finding sponsors is a full-time job in and of itself. We choose to focus on what we do best.
